Food to Sustain Life
For parents, nothing is more important than to see our children happy and healthy. As a mother of two, I cannot help myself from worrying about my children’s health and condition. That is why I worked so hard to support the daily needs of my family. Besides worrying about my children’s future, I also have the desire to help the children of Africa from hunger. What’s amazing is that I never realized that I could be able to work on this project which I longed for years ago. With the help of my team, we have gathered a lot of support from people and various institutions who donated their food stocks. Landmark education gave me the confidence to deal with other people in asking for donations to supply goods to our foundation to be brought to Africa. Our team was able to create fund raising activities such as garage sales, concerts and selling pastries to bring the profit to the foundation.
Months later, we were grateful to know that a lot of sponsors and donations are coming our way. This is truly a blessing which only started from a simple desire. The support of my friends and colleagues also motivates me to go further and even expand my team to obtain more help from other sponsors across the globe. I now have access to people who could help in funding food for the children of Africa. My desire was truly an amazing manifestation with the help of landmark education.
